The MATRIZ rug is a round piece, handwoven on a manual loom with a beige warp, using braided taboa and buriti fibers to create irregular stripes. Its edges are finished with overcast embroidery stitching. It is the original piece — the root — that inspired the entire Raízes Collection.

Cleaning and Care:

Basic maintenance of fiber and cotton rugs includes regular vacuuming or brushing to remove dust;
Rugs should not be washed together with other fabrics;
For the first wash, it is recommended to add a handful of salt and vinegar to the water;
Wash only with cold water;
Do not use a washing machine;
Use ONLY neutral soap — do not use bleach or whitening agents;
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap;
Dry in the shade;
As these rugs are made with organic fibers, they should not be kept in damp areas;
Due to the cotton content, the rug may shrink up to 10% after washing.
