The VÍNCULO Rug features multiple earthy tones of cotton fiber, layered in an organically flowing geometry. Crafted using natural straws and the specialized techniques of Trapos&Fiapos in working with taboa and buriti, the piece blends braids and bundles with a fully hand-embroidered finish. A newly developed technique makes its debut in this model: a diagonal weave that joins two separate pieces, connecting them through crochet embroidery to create a richly textured and meaningful composition.

This innovative method—the union of two rug panels through diagonal weaving and full crochet embroidery—brings both aesthetic and symbolic depth. Earthy tones, natural fibers, and an entirely hand-embroidered finish define this rug, celebrating both craft tradition and innovation.

This tapestry consists of two pieces featuring irregular buriti stripes over a taboa fiber base, embroidered throughout with our "Floresta em Festa" motif, and seamlessly joined with dense stitch embroidery.

Care Instructions:

• Maintenance is simple: vacuum or brush regularly to remove dust.

• Do not wash with other fabrics.

• For the first wash, add a handful of salt and vinegar to the water.

• Wash with cold water only.

• Do not machine wash.

• Use ONLY neutral soap—no bleach or harsh detergents.

• Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap.

• Dry in the shade.

• Avoid storing or using in humid areas, as the rug contains organic fibers.

• Due to its cotton content, the rug may shrink up to 10% after washing.
